I'm Andrew Hefter, a twenty year-old photographer attending Savannah College of Art and Design. I was born in Austin, Texas, grew up in Portland, Oregon, and went to high school in the Dallas area. I've been doing the photo bit for five years, and intend on doing it for the next five hundred.
I photograph an eclectic mix of nonsensical concepts, fanciful portraits, and both dramatic and sterile landscapes. I put an emphasis on geometry, light and color with most of my work. I am interested in things that carry no meaning, that exist because they were created. I get bored with myself easily and so my projects are an amalgamation of works from over time rather than done all at once; often the images were created with different intents. I don't pursue one subject, one style; rather, I just enjoy taking pictures of everything. I plan on photographing ad campaigns featuring beautiful models to sustain me, but to be continually refining and honing my personal vision is what will satisfy me.
