Finished my project for my large format class. Here are the last shots (along with the other images being submitted in the final portfolio)
Wasn’t all too thrilled with this round of large format shots. I’ve basically run out of time at this point, so when push came to shove, I just had to get the shot done. I wish there was more time to re-shoot, but…oh well, all I can hope for is something good enough.

A rather anti-climatic set, but it is indeed the last one, so here’s the last of Hong Kong, and China. I’ll post my final set that I submitted as my portfolio next.
One entry for Hangzhou. The least culturally vibrant of the places we visited in China. I’d associate it with the equivalent of the American upper middle class suburb, in the sense the architecture and environment reflected a concern with money and artificial beauty, rather than quirkiness and the embrace of organic culture. I have two days of classes left. Should be another bout of A’s. Then I’ll have three days until I’m on a 15+ hour flight to China. It seems to be taking too long to get here, but that’s always the case anyway.

There’s a development behind the SCAD equestrian center that never got past the front gates, so to speak. It’s a strange area, as if it weren’t for those front gates and paved roadways, and some other evidence of on-going development, it’d appear to be a nature and wildlife preserve. Minus any wildlife. Went to Sidewalk Arts today. Rather large and crowded, more than I expected, but I wasn’t necessarily surprised.
