Wasn’t all too thrilled with this round of large format shots. I’ve basically run out of time at this point, so when push came to shove, I just had to get the shot done. I wish there was more time to re-shoot, but…oh well, all I can hope for is something good enough.

First concept I shot towards my final in my large format photo class.
Had to go to Atlanta for a class I’m taking this quarter (Public Arts). Long-ish weekend overall, a bit boring, with some nice moments sprinkled in.
Got to scan in my film for large format today. Selection of 12 in this set, a few of ‘em I really like and will probably fine tune some more (these are pretty quick and dirty edits). All 4×5 Ilford HP5 and scanned on an Imacon.
Developed and made contact sheets from some 4×5 film (Ilford HP5) today. Just scanned in contact sheets and cropped in, so the quality is very very very very very subpar, but hopefully I’ll get to scan in the negs later. School is finally over. Basically left as soon as I could. Drove up yesterday with Rockie and we said our sad goodbyes in the morning *le sigh*. Mom and friend sorta kinda dragged me to the aquarium afterwards, and I was kinda glad about it in the end.
Went down I-16 with Rockie this weekend. Spent the night in Atlanta before coming back down. Got some relatively interesting / good stuff. About 50 images in this post fyi . . .
There’s a development behind the SCAD equestrian center that never got past the front gates, so to speak. It’s a strange area, as if it weren’t for those front gates and paved roadways, and some other evidence of on-going development, it’d appear to be a nature and wildlife preserve. Minus any wildlife.
