The final series I developed in my contemporary landscape class. I focused on barriers such as fences and walls, whether in the form of tree lines or brick. My artist statement is after the jump.

My last bit of landscape work from the quarter. I’ll post up my final series tomorrow.
Not much to say about this one, just a collection of what I’ve been doing for this quarter (in addition to the previous posts).
More work in relation to my contemporary landscape course, taken in various spots in and around Savannah.
Another short set of photos from a neighborhood down Abercorn, one of the main roads in Savannah. A continuation of the contemporary landscape work I uploaded in the previous posting from Jamestown.
Starting to upload the work I’ve been producing for my contemporary landscape class. It’s been somewhat of a struggle dealing with the subject, since my focus has been on the sterility of suburbia – and thus, it is inherently boring. So the challenge to make it interesting, at least on the surface, has made it frustrating at times. Regardless, I’m hoping to end up with something cohesive at the end of the quarter.
It’s been a while, and I actually have neglected to upload much of the work I did during my studio class. This is just a smattering of what I felt was the strongest work. I’ll be starting to post work from this quarter soon enough.
