08.21.09 The Portrait
No, not a philosophical post – this is a band shoot I had a couple weeks ago. The Portrait is their name.
Did it on some farmland out in Farmersville. It was unfortunately rainy, which meant I couldn’t really do much with flash for fear of frying the strobe, so light was a bit troublesome.
It was some nice property though.
I was able to pop some fill in there though, which turned out okay – though something soft and directional would’ve still been quite welcome.
The best really came towards the end though – the 85 really acting lovely here.
The D200 in the first half or so with the Siggy 20 1.8 – a combo not seen for a while. The rest are the D700 and 85 1.4.
