A few days after getting back from Chicago I had a commission. Had to shoot a jewelry line, and the client was looking for something with a fashion edge to it. Went pretty well I think.
Model was Bekka Zuefeldt. Represented by Kim Dawson Agency.
Rented some studio lights, but ended up using my small flash and umbrella a lot too. SB600 behind camera right, shoot through umbrella for these.
Natural light for these. Big ol’ window in this room and the light was pouring in.
Next setup was a tea party.
Dyna-Lite, bare bulb, straight up from the ground.
Dyna-Lite through umbrella, camera left.
Next set we got ridiculous.
Zebra skin rugs. Oh yeah.
Dyna-Lite and 4 X 5 ft (!!!) softbox. With a second Dyna-Lite camera right, through umbrella.
Got pretty trippy in post . . .
Last set. These were my favorite.
Started with natural light, then popped the SB600 off the ceiling.
D700 with (in order of appearance) the 50, 85, 20-35, and 28 1.8.
