07.19.09 Shanghai day 5 part 1
There were about 80 total images from day 5 (at least, ones I thought of as keepers). So I’m breaking it into two posts. I’ll post part two tomorrow.
We went along a sort of neighborhood street. There were vendors, shops, market type stuff, but not very dense like other areas. More just general street life and people walking about.
Yup, they have churches. Who knows exactly what they’re allowed to do though, but the fact that they are there, and visible, is pretty stark to what most people know or think.
Went to an art’s district. Lots of construction workers were tearing up one particular alleyway. Plenty of photos to be had.
Bought a steamed bun from him.
It was a very “western friendly” area.
No. Nobody certainly does.
LOLWUT. Was outside of, what I guess was . . . a head shop . . .
They have the best signs.
There was a couple taking a picture of, I’m guessing, their dog. I snapped one myself as I passed by. D700, with lots of 85 1.4 goodness, and a mix of the 20-35 and 50 1.4.

A totally enthralling series.
Great stuff, man. Always nice to see the work of a peer. You should add buttons to the bottom of your posts to digg, stumble, etc your content.-Tom
I have an upcoming re-design where I plan on incorporating that type of stuff. Thanks!
